Gary L. Juskowiak II, Ph.D., specializes in the prosecution of patent applications in the fields of chemistry, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. Dr. Juskowiak is experienced in preparing and prosecuting U.S. and international patent applications.
Dr. Juskowiak has a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Virginia and a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of California, Irvine. His graduate research included work in synthetic organic chemistry, peptide chemistry, combinatorial chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry and molecular biology research in order to develop new methods for live-cell protein labeling. At the UC Berkeley School of Law, Dr. Juskowiak received the Advocacy Award for Written and Oral Advocacy and he wrote for the Berkeley Technology Law Journal blog.
