Kavon Nasabzadeh, an associate at BSKB, has over a decade of experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications. His extensive experience includes drafting over 100 patent applications and prosecuting hundreds more to issuance in a wide variety of technical areas, including wireless communications, complex digital and analog signal processing techniques, power management for battery-powered devices, memory storage devices, and video and audio coding. In the wireless communications space, Mr. Nasabzadeh has particular experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications that relate to key underlying technologies found in the 3GPP/LTE and Wi-Fi standards, such as MIMO, precoding, forward error correction, multiple access schemes, and wireless network architectures.
Mr. Nasabzadeh also has experience in drafting non-infringement and invalidity opinions, inter partes review and reexamination proceedings at the USPTO and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and assisting with district court litigation matters.
Prior to joining BSKB, Mr. Nasabzadeh worked in the telecommunications field where he developed state-of-the-art test and measurement systems.
