Reed Risenmay is an Associate at BSKB specializing in all aspects of patent prosecution in the electrical arts and IT services. During his career, Mr. Risenmay has experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications related to electronic hardware, electronic software, machine learning/artificial intelligence, electronic communications, analog circuit design, semiconductor fabrication, and medical devices.
Mr. Risenmay has also counseled clients on patent portfolio management, patent acquisition, patentability, patent clearance, and other proceedings at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Mr. Risenmay has worked with both in-house counsel and foreign counsel to manage national and international patent prosecution.
Before joining BSKB, Mr. Risenmay gained extensive experience working as an associate in the patent prosecution departments of various law firms. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington in 2012 before earning his Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University in 2015.
